Feeling a little adventurous and trying something new and exotic? Come join us on our Foodie Adventure! We will be trying out some delicious Ramen Burgers, Kimchi Burgers, and Banh Mi Burgers - amongst many other things. If that doesn't sound enticingly delectable and exciting to you, then I don't know what will! haha All joking aside, please be on time and not run on Asian time, since the restaurant gets crowded on the weekends, we can't guarantee you a seat if you are late. Take into consideration the time it takes to find a parking spot, or the time it takes, taking the Green Line in etc. It's not easy to find street parking in Allston, so I'd highly recommend taking the train in if possible. After Dinner, we will continue our adventures and head to Do Re Mi for some Karaoke fun! Please sign up and RSVP for that event separately if you're also interested in attending. RSVPing to this event only holds a seat for you for the Dinner portion only. To make everyone's life easier and the bill payment more efficient, please bring at least $30 in Cash, just in case. Thanks. And always, please be mindful and considerate of other members and only RSVP if you are fairly certain that you can make it and not bail last minute. Please remember to update your RSVP if your plans change as we often have members on the wait list. Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward in seeing you on our fun-filled adventure! -Xiao
This is a joint event with Social Fun meetup group so we don't have a waitlist. Tonight is an open game night -- all card, tile, board and party games are welcome. Be sure to bring your favorite one :) If you rsvp "yes" and then have a change of plans please be sure to update your rsvp ahead of time so that you won't be counted as a "no show" and to allow for other members to attend since we have a limit on attendance. Thank you very much. Live in the Metrowest area and want to come to our events but they're too far away? Want to make some new friends, eat some good food and play some fun games in the process? Make some time on your calendar for Saturday night because we have the event just for you. While all games are welcome, here are some suggestions for tonight: American Mah Jongg -- whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro, we guarantee that there will be a table (or two) for people to play and mingle. Cribbage -- a lot of people are picking up this game, because it is so awesome. Do you have a cribbage board? If so, be sure to bring it :) Sequence -- Have you played this game before? The rules are simple but I warn you that it is quite addicting. We'll be meeting at the Panera in Waltham. Panera offers an inviting setting to meet friends for a light meal and conversation. The bakery-cafe offers innovative salads and sandwiches, delicious baked goods and healthy frozen shakes. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW This event is free, but please support the group and the event location by purchasing a drink or meal while you are Panera. The food is very good, so it will be hard to resist! Please do not bring outside food or drinks into Panera. Note that due to limited space we may place a limit on attendees if too many people sign up (or cancel it if we don't get any at all!) HOW TO GET THERE Panera Bread is located at 1100 Lexington Street in Waltham -- in the Shaw's plaza near the corner of Lexington Street and Trapelo Road. Ample parking. Danielle DeVarne is an outstanding realtor. Searching for and buying a home can be a daunting task, but having a great realtor who is smart, experienced, confident, and knowledgeable makes the experience a pleasure. Danielle is personable, hard-working and tenacious. She has worked tirelessly helping us find the perfect home and we certainly presented her with some challenges along the way that exceeded our expectations.
Her years of experience, great knowledge of the market and creative approach are certainly strong attributes in addition to her wonderful, warm personality. She is adept at communication and is a terrific negotiator.
Danielle is not only our agent, she has become a friend. (less)
